Evaluation

I made them using audacity sound. Ducking is changing the volume . U had to do this in most of them. I think i have achievede a merit because i worked independently but it took time for me to figure out what to do.

The Big Cat Crashes Wedding

Russel Brand and Katy Perry’s jungle paradise wedding was probably truly spectacular! Until a tiger crashed the wedding. The couple were most definitely shocked by this unwanted guest. The beautiful tiger appeared out of nowhere to join the graceful ceremony, but instead of a beautiful dream day, it was a nightmare trying to get it out of the stars wedding. Russell gave Katie a precious ruby, and she gave him a baby elephant as their wedding gifts for each other. But i am sure that the tiger part will never be forgotten on their big day! What a coincidence that the day russel also gave Katy a beautiful female pet tiger, on comes along and crashes the wedding, you never know, it could have been the pet’s mate, longing to get her back from the people that took her. They will never forget this day.

Gaming Mood Board- Audience

I added images that suited 15-25 year old males. (p) I chose these images because boys usually associate with these things/possesions. (m) my mood board communicates that the product is what the boys want and should get. (m) My audience aare boys/men 15-25, and they are represented as typicall boys/men. (d)

I added on games that most boys/men are more likely to play, I also added a famous store that you can buy all these games from. (P) I chose these images because they suit the purpose of the magazine and they suit the targetted audience. (m) My mood board communicates that these are the games that the boys/men like and also that they would be ideal to get. (m) My audience are 15-25 year old males, and they are represented on my mood board as people who like crime and fighting. (d)

Teen Music Mood Board

I haven't finished this, but wyhen i do it should be clear to people who is is targetted at. rihanna and dr. drey beats werre my first choice because music isn't just about the artists, it is also abuot anything to do with music, like headphones. rihanna is a well known artist, so everyone can recongnise her.

Mood Board Children

This is a children's mood board and I used different children's shows that most children find popular and entertaining. I also showed a children's channel. if i showed this without saying who the target audience was, people would be able to guess easily, so it is clear who it is for/ aimed at.

Media Evaluation.

Kanye West- I used my Photoshop skills to create this. I used the magic wand tool and mostly I had to use the same colours that matched a certain item in the picture. I had to work in a frame of 2 or three colours.

Nicki Minaj- Photoshop skills were used doing this picture band I finished it. I chose a font style that matched her personality and a hot pink colour that matched her fingernails. I had to use creativity skills to finish off this piece of work. I also used alignment skills to align my text so it wasn’t messy.

Rihanna- Photoshop was also used to create this. However it was hard because we had to get rid of the background behind her image and it was quite hard to mask her hair because it was a bit of a mess.

Get The Look- I used Photoshop, and the magic wand tool was mainly used in this piece. I also used text box and opacity to fade the text box.

Fashion frames- I found this hard, I used Photoshop. I used masking and the magic wand tool to get rid of parts of the frames that weren’t supposed to be there.

3 Column Layout- I used In Design to create this. I used text wrapping.

Double page spread- I used In Design and used text wrapping and used pictures to create small pictures and one big one.

Lady GaGa- I used text wrapping the most here. I chose a lady gaga picture and drew a line around her image so the text didn’t overlap her body.

Katy Perry 100 words- I had to use the 5w’s to create this, and also research skills.

Katy Perry 200 words- More research was involved and a more detailed paragraph.

Kim Kardashian 100 words- I had to use the 5w’s to create this and also research skills.

Kim kardashian 200 words- More research was needed and a more detailed writing copy.

Script Writing Bus Stop- We had to use word to create this. We had to use certain alignment rules to make it look like a professional script.

Script Writing Taxi Driver- We used word to create this. We had to follow certain rules that are used in the filming industry.

Storyboard 1- We had to use drawing skills to do this. We also had to put different angle shots in there and different camera movements. I found the camera movements quite hard.

I enjoyed doing the script writing tasks the best because we got to use our imagination more and it was a change from using photoshop and indesign.

I was best at the writing scripts and the masking/ magic wand tool.

I could use them because masking plays an important role in media, and the rules we had to follow in the script writing are also important. In case we do the same sorts of tasks again.

I need to get better at the 5w;s because i needed a bit of help whilst doing them.

I could try harder to find help with other students. Also i could start to write notes in my book when i think they will or might be forgotten. Also participating more in lessons could help, and instead of talking to the person next to me and being off task, I should listen more.
